After you have written, revised, rewritten, and edited your book, you will have “read” it enough times that you will likely start skipping over sections and often miss mistakes that have not yet been corrected or missed edits you thought you had already made. This is a fresh set of eyes on your manuscript designed to give you overall impressions and feedback.
The Editorial Evaluation will focus only on high level things that may need revising: issues with plot, character development, inconsistencies, logic errors, or even copyright permissions you may need to resolve before moving forward.
What it isn’t: An Editorial Evaluation isn’t developmental editing nor copy editing. If it is determined that you need more than this light pass, the fee for the Evaluation can be applied to any other level of editing service provided here.
Pricing for an Editorial Evaluation is $150 per 50k words
Amount can be applied to additional services for the same manuscript.
